As far as wedding photography goes, this was the most relaxed shoot I have ever done. The reason? This was a reshoot. Nikki and Justin were recently married in Fiji where they tell me they experienced the most wonderful day with their closest family and friends under blue skies and an amazing location.Unfortunately, the island photographer just didn’t capture the photos they were after and didn’t even get a single full length photo of the gown!
When Nikki contacted me to schedule a shoot, I was expecting quite a plain dress – but was delightfully blown away when I met both Nikki and Justin on location – what a dress!
Under no time restrictions for a reception we were able to take our time on a gorgeous Terrigal afternoon and capture a bunch of images to show off that amazing dress and the obvious love that these guys have for each other.
Congratulations to the two of you and I hope you love the photos we created.

There was no way little Tatun was going to miss out on the fun!

How could you miss photographing a full length shot of this gown?

Although not the original wedding shoes, these were bought for Nikki by Justin early in their relationship.

One of my favourite images of the day – I love the light, the movement, the expression – everything.
Beautiful shoot Andrew!
Awesome!!
My favourite is the one looking down on them on the rocks with all the puddles.
Andrew great work and what a compliment from the couple to ask you to do this for them.
I think you are under more pressure to get good results when having to do a gig like this, well done on getting some really nice shots.
Thanks Tony, it was a real pleasure for me to do this shoot and I’m still amazed the local photographer didn’t get a full length shot of Nikki’s amazing gown!
As for pressure, this shoot was very relaxed. It was a rare treat to not have any time restrictions.
