I consider myself to be very lucky to have the job that I have. There aren’t that many people that REALLY enjoy what they do, I am one of them. I get the opportunity to be with couples on one of the biggest occasions of their life and to actually be involved in their day. Not only that, I get to put my “spin” on the day in the way I capture and interpret what happens before me, through my camera. Can it get any better than that?
Well, sometimes, for different reasons there are the days that stand out – and this was one of those “special” days.
Kirrilee and Phil have the most amazing group of friends around them which makes it impossible not to have a great time when you’re in their company. I’ve had the opportunity to photograph quite a few of this group of friends and each time I come away, I can’t help but think how truly lucky they all are.
I sometimes wonder if they all realize that what they have is so special?
I photograph weddings almost every weekend and it’s very rare to see such a large group stay so close over so many years. I think they do know – just take one look at the photos below and you can’t help but see how happy they all are….. and how good looking!

Yes, Kirrilee was very organised – every groomsman had his own set of “instructions” for the day. Love it.
These girls are almost professional bridesmaids with all the weddings they’ve been involved with.
Sometimes you can just tell it’s “right” by looking at a couple – I get that feeling with this photo.
