When a couple love and value photography as much as I do it sure makes shooting a whole lot of fun. It’s pretty easy to see from the images below that Emily was happy to “work it” for the camera and looked simply stunning in her Kel-Leigh Couture gown. The girls made their preparations at an amazing retreat not far from Bowral in the Southern Highlands on what was shaping up to be a very wet day. With locations, a gown and gorgeous bride like this however, who needs the outdoors!
Arriving at the location for the ceremony, Aunty Cathy’s farm, the guys were nowhere to be found and were still shopping and cruising around town! I was able to corner Clayton and his mates for a couple of snaps just before the sound of thundering hooves could be heard coming down the meandering driveway to announce the arrival of Emily.
The ceremony was a beautiful affair in an igloo shaped gazebo, featuring the stunning backdrop of the hills and distant escarpment. Following the ceremony we snuck away to a private garden for some photos and some laughs with the bridal party before returning to a relaxed and intimate reception on the property.
Thankfully the rain stayed at bay for the afternoon and we were able to make the most of this amazing area. After saying my good-byes and heading for the car, the last image I saw was a full dance floor with Emily in the middle laughing and spinning, surrounded by friends, family and her new husband.
Congratulations guys, see you both soon.
