I met Yayra in one of the Starbucks Cafes in London – she was having a giggle at the conversation I was in with Darren and Linda about photography and cameras.

Turns out Yayra is a fashion designer, doing ok and making advances in the local market. I asked about her website to see some of her work but she’s had to take it down because of people stealing her designs and making it frustratingly tough to stand out in the super-competitive market.

I asked how she shows prospective buyers her creations and what she can do. Instead of a website, she had a portfolio style app on her phone.

We chatted for a bit longer and left her to her work as we headed back out into the crazy hot London weather to go see some more sights.
