I have two good rings with the police right now – plenty of diamonds in one of them. I have to wait three months, if nobody comes forward to claim and collect them, they become legally mine.

Under $300 for my detector and I modified the shovel myself.
A couple of other guys I know have spent a lot more than me on some pretty specialised metal detecters and they can search in the water – they do really well!
