Every year Linda, my awesome wife, books me in to get a few shots of our two boys for Christmas cards (yes, it’s that busy that she actually makes a booking) and every year I come back to look through the images and can’t believe how much older they look.
We popped down to the rocks yesterday afternoon to find windy conditions with large surf but still had no problem finding a spot for a few snaps. The boys were great and pretty much know that if dad can grab a few photos quickly we can put the camera away and have a mess around. When they were young, it used to be sand castles and digging in the sand. Once older it became throwing rocks and climbing – these days it’s can we get some food we’re starving.
I really am lucky to have such a great family and funnily enough, it’s not until I stop to look at some photos that it really does sink in how good things are. Where would we be without photos…

My two boys – growing up fast

Check the hair – Mattie’s going afro!

Jordan – the style master

The boys with our newest addition to the family – ROXY
OMG Roxy!!! and the boys are just so casually cool. Your a blessed man … Harvey asked why the boys don’t have lycra on?
Haha, thanks Nat – I am lucky! Pretty sure the boys get their “coolness” from me.
Roxy is fitting in very well and almost running the household after a short three weeks here. Any affection that I once attracted from my family has now been reserved for the one and only royal highness…. Roxy!
As for the lycra – Harvey just hasn’t looked close enough 😉
Great photos of the boys & Roxy. I love how the females are starting to even up in the family, only one to go! N 🙂
Thanks Nyrie – no more females coming into our family unless we get a bird! Definitely no more kids, no more dogs and it’s not like the girls need any more help – they already run the show in our household.
All the boys just do what we’re told.
See you soon
AH
Oh you both must be so proud of your handsome boys they could be models, and Roxy is so cute.
Lots of love
See you soon
Auntie Cathy xx
Thanks Cathy – can’t wait to see you soon and looking forward to “The Wedding of 2010.”
Not sure what the weather is like in Scotland but we have 35+ at the moment – hopefully it stays that way for your visit!
Speak soon
Andrew
Oh my goodness, I see them all the time and like you I guess, havent realised how grown up they are actually getting. Mattie looks about 13!!
I am sure you will now be able to see how much Roxy grows over the years too.
Great pics.
