Sometimes it can be difficult to get the whole family organised and sorted for a location shoot, especially when one of the parents work long hours or has to do the daily commute. For these situations, and if the house suits, a portrait shoot at your home can be a great solution.
This was the situation that Kate and Glen found themselves in so Kate organised to have the shoot in their beautiful gardens at Matcham on the Central Coast. We made use of Glen before he set off for work by getting some family shots before concentrating on getting some more photos of their beautiful children.
The lighting was difficult with so much tree cover and limited light but with some careful positioning and lots of direction and some off camera flash we were able to catch some lovely images of these two “Cabbage Patch” kids in their very own gardens – pretty special.
oooh! i like the 4th one. nice tones and composition.
