I had to share a beautiful email message I received this morning from the parents of the bride, Chris and Steve, whose daughter I photographed on the weekend. The wedding of Jen and Pat was a truly special day and one that will stay with me for years to come – I’ll add some more photos of this emotion filled happy, happy day, once I have had a chance to sort through all the photos.
Here’s the message:
Dear Andrew,
Steve & I just wanted to say thank you for all your hard work on Saturday at Jenny & Pat’s wedding.
No matter how much planning and attention to detail goes into the preparation for a wedding, at some point you have to hand over the responsibility to other people. We were so fortunate that you made such a positive contribution to their day. You were highly recommended to us by a close & trusted personal friend who had used you for commercial work and we are so glad we took her advice.
I loved the way you instinctively tuned into those who were more nervous than others and instantly gained their confidence and how skilful you were at ‘blending in’. I know that you must have taken some amazing shots of the smiles from our beautiful girl and her new husband.

The speech from Pat had everyone and I mean everyone wiping their eyes in one of the very best speeches I have ever heard from a new husband at a wedding
