It was tough coming home and back to work after such a terrific holiday. Below are a few snaps from the beginning of our holiday which started in Scotland to photograph a wedding (which can be seen by clicking here) and the four days Linda and I spent in Paris.
It really was a holiday with just a little point and shoot camera and playing tourist where ever we went. I’ll add a few photos from the Tour de France part of the holiday when I get a chance.

A great way to kick the holiday off – drinking games in Scotland with Linda’s family

Linda in front of one of many nice shops on the Champs-Élysées – had to get her out of this area real quick!

Our hire car while in Paris

A trip to Paris would not be complete without a visit to the Eiffel Tower

Ready to ride the Tour de France

Breakfast was struggle each day – which pastry will we choose this time?

Our hotel front door 😉

yes – the day we set aside to visit the Louvre, it was shut

A view of the city from Sacre Coeur

Fancy a French hot dog anyone? They’re totally healthy… honest
WOW! Very cool ! Great job with the point and shoot. Not sure I believe you about the hire car? My friend Prue was in Paris the same time as you and set aside a day for the Louvre only to find it was shut too! LOL Must have been the same day, small world.
It was nice, refreshing even, to just have the point and shoot – no pressure.
I think I saw Prue, was she the one wandering around like us trying to find a way in the Louvre like us. It must only be Aussies that weren’t aware they are closed on a Tuesday. I hope she had a laugh about the situation like we did.
