It’s been a while in the works but we wanted to do this right before releasing it to our clients. The concept is ‘Fusion’ where still photography meets video for a snapshot of your wedding day.
What did you think? Does ‘Fusion’ appeal to you?
Our sample featured Kelly and Shane who were married at the gorgeous Noonaweena, tucked away in the Central Coast’s hinterland on the back road to the Hunter Valley. You can see more of their wedding in a post here.
If Fusion has been available to photographers for some time, why did we wait so long to release a sample? Simply because we couldn’t do it on our own – not well enough anyway. So, we sought the help of a professional cinematographer who concentrates on video and production while we focus on what we’re good at – great wedding photography.
With our photography and video collaboration, we are able to offer Fusion at both our Central Coast and Newcastle studios, which will obviously include wedding coverage in the Hunter Valley vineyards and Sydney.

Loved it, Loved it, Loved it.
I want one and I want to get married again where this wedding was.
Beautiful and very emotional.
Great job!
Wow – thanks Aleisha! Fusion really is cool isn’t it.
I honestly get all emotional as well, every time I watch it.
I guess lot of those feelings are brought to the surface because Kelly and Shane’s wedding was very emotional. That was Kelly’s Dad in the photo who passed away not long before her wedding.
Thanks for your comment.
Awesome! So much better than a ‘video slideshow’ of images. Great concept and very well executed.
Thanks Simon – I totally agree with your video slideshow comment – unfortunately, it’s so much more work than a slideshow of ‘still’ images and as much as I’d love to show this style of ‘production’ at the actual wedding, that will be almost impossible at this stage.
Still – it certainly is something worth waiting for!
Great video, I don’t even know them and I had tears in my eyes 🙂
Hi Jodi – I’m lucky enough to have photographed many weddings over the years and this video had the same affect on me too.
Thanks for leaving a comment.
I REALLY liked this Andrew. I actually started in videography and moved to photography so it may be time to dust off the video camera and look into doing a Fusion piece. Very well done and you never cease to amaze at the quality of light that I see in your pictures. Keep up the great work!
Thanks Wesley – awesome to read your comments, I feel very flattered. With your experience, fusion would be a cinch. Thanks for stopping by and commenting.
