Jes and Michael wanted their E:session in their new home. The request was for something simple, natural and with some sunny afternoon light. The garden was their favourite place to be, so we threw in some quirky colour, picnic blankets and some beautiful light and voila! The idea was to create warm memories of life in their new home, a special time before they marry.
Jes has such a great sense of place and style, that without even seeing the house or garden I knew it would be just perfect for the shoot we were after.
I’ve had quite a few brides telling me lately how much they love the ‘sunny dayz’ look from California photographers at the moment. Late afternoon light is best, natural settings and a little bit of quirkiness in the form of, a bike, some colour, your pets, a basket, a picnic … can really add some style your E:session.
