If you’ve been held up by the ongoing roadworks at Green Point in the past 12 months, you will probably recognise the photos below. At each stage of construction I have been commissioned by Seymour Whyte to document the progress of the job and some of the faces of the construction site.These shoots are always a laugh with the “tough guy” road crews lining up to get in some of the shots.
It’s wasn’t until I started photographing this stretch of road that I had a true understanding of what goes into a construction job like this – it truly is a massive undertaking.
Unfortunately, I’ll have a first hand look at exactly what does happen on a daily basis as construction starts at the front of our studio at Erina Heights – lets’s hope the company here does as good a job as the Seymour Whyte crews.
