I had to share some of these photos of my little nephew Luca after wrangling my brother and his wife from the Norther Beaches to experience a Central Coast portrait photography session amongst the rocks and puddles at Terrigal. I’m so glad I had the chance to capture these photos, especially after harping on about the importance of family photos.
It’s funny, even with a photographer in the family it can be so difficult to organise a portrait session… life really is busy these days. No wonder family photos get put on the back burner so often, it seems it’s never the right time. We’d been talking about getting photos since Luca was born and here he is, already one and the first chance to get some nice photos presented itself.
Looking through the photos now, Steven and Belinda, my brother and his wife, are so happy to have the photos and I’m just as happy to have been able to capture them. Knowing that these images will live on in their family for… I don’t know… 50 years, is pretty special. Especially considering that the photos we did are actually printed, they don’t just live on in a computer, a phone as a digital record like so many photos of our generation.
Even if you don’t have professional photos of your family captured, do yourself a favour, and your family – get some of your images printed, get them off the computer and show them off. I promise they will bring a smile to your face, every time you see them.
If that’s too much hassle and you would like something really special for your walls, let us create some beautiful memories for you, we’d love to.
We have lots more portrait photography samples on the blog and if you’d like to look over our prices, you can do that on the website. The best thing though, is to pick up the phone, call Tenneille at the studio and have a chat about the style of images you’d love of your family: 4367 0111.
