I don’t want to write another blog post all about the importance of family photos, what they mean once you have them, what they will mean in the future… I’ve said it all before and you’ve probably heard it all before.
I thought instead, I’d share a few photos from a shoot I did with Amanda and her brothers Chris and Matt. The shoot was at Wamberal Beach on the Central Coast, not far from where these guys live and spent some of their time growing up.
As you can see from the photos, it was a fun, easy and no fuss shoot. There were lots of laughs.
The photos were to surprise mum and dad.
Amanda messaged me afterwards and said, “I wanted to tell you how happy mum and dad were with the photos. Mum cried as soon as she saw them.”
Some of the photos from this shoot are now hanging in their family home. I’ll bet mum and dad both smile EVERY time they see the them. I’ll bet Amanda, Chris and Matt would too.
No matter what the future holds, no matter how far apart they live, no matter how little they all see each other as life gets busy, they will not only have the photos as a memory of that day they shared for the photo session, those same photos will be a reminder of fun times growing up together.
How lucky am I to be a part of that.
